Groups_and_Factions

General information

In this game there is a possibility to create factions, which allow players to co-operate in this harsh Wasteland.

In order to create one, you have to be at level 15 and pay a sum of 500k (which should be deposited on your replication balance). You won't get your faction this very instant, but after the admins will choose to do so. They can easily deny your request on faction creation and you will lose all that money. So think straight when you are coming up with the name (if it's forbidden in any way, you won't succeed).

Faction menu will pop up after clicking the corresponding button on your interface.

Faction's rating

Each faction has its own rating, which inreases or decreases depending on the actions of its members.

Following actions change your rating:

  • Killing an enemy = 100 points.
  • Any XP gained by a member of faction is divided on him and is later added to the faction's rating. = 100 points.
  • Killing a clanmate = -200 points.
  • Clanmate's death = -20 points.
  • Clanmate's death from hands of an enemy = -100 points. (Sums with previous penalty)

Only deaths\kills from other players are accounted towards rating.

If you have a serious intention on creating a faction (and it's not created in order to do some quests or something else), than you can add a logo to your faction. In order to do that, contact the administrator at forum and send him your image. It must be a .png picture 15x15 pix. If everything has gone right, after running an updater you will be able to see your logo right next to your character's name.

Name colouring

Characters belonging to a faction have a particular colour to their names, which can be set by a faction leader through faction menu. In order to apply colouring, each player has to "update" colours in his faction interface.

Target marking

Leader or an officer of faction can mark targets during combat by using "I" on their keyboard. As soon as the target will be marked, every faction member present on map will see the targeted character.

Faction hierarchy

Players in faction can be divided by 3 different groups:

Leader

Faction leader is a player who created that faction. He can recruit new soldiers, change colour palets and mark targets during combat, he can disband faction as well.

Officer

Officers are chosen by the faction leader. They have all the same abilities, except disbanding a faction.

Private

Nothing exceptional, just a member.

There is a time-out for joining other faction after leaving one (24 hours of real-time).
