Factions The faction system serves to identify a player's affiliation, allows players to group up under a common flag, as well as being a requirement for some functional aspects of the game, such as initiating base control.

Creating a faction

Using his replication ballance, any player level 15 or above is allowed to create a faction, at which point he is prompted to select the faction's name. Curently, creating a faction is priced at 1 500 000 dollars, with adding any additional player to it costing 100 000 dollars. Once populated, the leader can promote or demote members or set alliances with other factions.

Changes in player's faction related settings is done via the faction menu, accesible by pressing the "K" key.

Functionality

Belonging to a faction or having a certain rank in one is required for certain aspects of gameplay, like initiating base control or taking over one of the player run bases. There are also faction quests in New Reno, in which players in groups participate in difficult tasks to obtain advantages for their faction.

Penalties

One of the most noticable effects of factions is sharing town penalties. It can be devastating for a faction as a single player can pretty much get the faction on a town's KOS list. It's therefore advised to prove any player to join the faction.

The penalty, as a single player's one, can be fixed by paying it. If the faction is on a KOS, dying with money in inventory will count the money towards the penalty.

Factions

This space is reserved in case any player wants to create an article on their current faction, or even remmemberance of their factions in past sessions.
