This is a mutated scorpion affected by radiation and the FEV virus (or WVP). Radscorpions likely originated from the largest species of these arthropods — the emperor scorpions (Pandinus imperator), which could reach lengths of up to 20 cm.

For radscorpions, a length of 1-2 meters is normal. In terms of body structure, they are almost indistinguishable from their pre-war ancestors. Pre-war emperor scorpions were not dangerous, as their sting was similar to that of a bee (the larger the arachnid, the less dangerous its venom). However, as their size increased, their venom became dangerous more due to quantity than toxicity, as well as the strength of the powerful stinger.

They are usually found in groups of 3-5 individuals and can be found in large numbers in various caves.

Radscorpion tails (specifically, the venom glands removed from these tails) are used to make antidotes against this harmful poison.

Radioactive scorpions come in two varieties:

  • Large Radscorpion
  • Small Radscorpion

The small radscorpion is identical to the large one, but has lower stats.

Large radscorpions can pose a threat to unarmed beginners, but they are not dangerous to experienced players. Small radscorpions present a greater threat than ants due to their higher stats and ability to poison, but they can only be dangerous to novices.
